Slovakia. She studied International Relations in Bratislava. To the special spirit of Łodż she tries to contribute with activities also in her hosting organization, “Institute for Creative Action”. It’s undertaking different actions for local community. Her daily activities include a variety of workshops for kids, youngsters and seniors. 

And you have to try her food, especially Slovakian galushki. Everytime she cooks there is a queue in "3 pietra".

 

Mathilde

Belgium. After she finished her studies of Interior Design in Belgium, she became volunteer in a library for little children. She is making workshops with another volunteer, Lucille, and having differents topics each months. She enjoys a lot to spend time with the librarians and the kids are happy about their work. She likes trying new creative things as everybody in her organisation are always helpful and open to every kind of ideas.

She is the best one playing with the colors on papers.

Romania. Before coming to EVS he was getting bored at home and he wanted to change his life. He studied psycology and business but he didnt like the frames of universitites. That`s why he quited both. And he chose volunteering for finding himself.

Give him a piece of paper and he will create a flower, a dragon, or even a unicorn!

 

 

 

Cata
David

Spain. He studied theater in Spain and Italy before coming to Lodz. He can make great movie even without camera as a magician. In his heart there is fire for changes. He can`t stand any discrimination. Be careful if you want to discuss with him something. Prepare as many arguments as you can. Anyway he will prove that you are wrong.

 

Ukraine. She came from Kiev after finishing her History studies. Now in FERSO organisation she works with seniors and wishes sometimes to run away from Russian lessons. EVS taught her how to be more responsible and sociable. Her dream is to travel to Indonesia and see the ocean. She likes flowers, reading, movie "Ledi" directed by Luck Besson, to be independent and disscusing about women rights.

 

Ania

Moldova. Working in the national TV was not enough for her. This Journalist decided to come to Poland for volunteering in Miejski Osrodek Kultury of Zgierz. She likes travelling and drinks beer. 

Natalia

RomaniaShe studied European relations and tourism. She has great voice that pani Montserrat can be jealous. When you want to be under the clouds and see the sky – ask her. She can take you with her glider and teach you how to fly. She likes technics and try new stuff, but in badminton she still needs a lot of practice.

 

 

Cristina

France. She studied Literature in France, worked in Spain and England before road brought her to Poland. She plays “Yellow submarine” on little guitar and has good music taste. During EVS time she found herself as a teacher for children. Her favorite color is pink, her favorite drink is beer.

 

 

Lucille

France. She came in Poland for changes. She wanted to know the real life and learn English. She fights for animal rights. She is brave and she’s not afraid of experimenting, that`s why to make a new piercing or shave her hair are easy for her. 

 

 

Julie

Spain. He studied International Trade in Spain.  After university his beard showed him the road to Poland. He worked in an alternative place called PKA. “Pan Tlumacz” was his nickname.  He got his first vinyl in Poland and he will continue playing reggae in Spain.
