Volunteering: a memory that should never be forgotten

Have you ever thought how it would be nice to be in 1969 and join group of Woodstock Festival and feel Flower Power? I did. Not because of cannabis, LSD, and psilocybin mushrooms which were widely used in such kind of events=) Because of atmosphere of love and happiness.
15th of January we had our little Library Hippie Festival. Finally Cristina, Jana and me came to visit Lucille and Mathilde in the working place. They got great skills how to use all materials which they had and do great thing from nothing! What we saw really impressed us, as a spoiled volunteers with all stuff in FERSO. They made beautiful decoration, big colorful bus, prepare special drawing where you can put your face in… Like this:
We had great opportunity to take some experience from the girls how to work with kids. They loved their international teachers and were happy to participate.
With the special art sponge-technique kids drew faces of Marilyn Monroe:
Lucille impressed us with the “Yellow Submarine” song and playing in little guitar (the name of it I forget all the time=)

And way to learn French can be very funny. This guy was lucky and everybody wanted to touch him because Lucille told “vert”. That`s mean “green” in French and everybody had to touch something green.
This workshop return somebody to earlier ages and Babcia could remember her youthfulness, nice memories about dream to be a princess from the cartoon “Anastasia”.
That`s how we spent cold winter day. Girls warmed our hearts with their kindness and hot tea=)
