Support Ukraine!

During 11 months we spent outside of our countries. But anyway we are connected with our places there, people and our families. When something happens, even far away from us, we can`t stand outside. It touches us as well and we have to send our support and energy.

This winter brought changes to Ukraine. Thousands people went to the main square fight for better future. Euromaydan started something new in Ukraine and in this moment we felt the importance to do something and be part of it. I remember the day of first action in Warsaw - 30th of January. So my birthday I could spend with Ukrainian community in Warsaw.

My friend Olya and me decided to join this action. Exactly after my plane from Grenoble I arrived to the center of Warsaw and met with Olya in the train station. It was so cold that after half an hour in the Plac Konstytucyjnosti and hot tea, we went to find place to warm up a bit. So Poczta Polska saved us from the coldness, in this place we put all clothes which we had with us, more pairs of socks and returned to the place again.

With the Ukrainian rock-music from “Okean Elzy” and native language everywhere we were happy and forgot about the time! After running into the train to Lodz 1 minute before its departure we had time to discuss about current situation and speak in Ukrainian.

Also we couldn`t miss any actions in Lodz. One day David and me went to support Ukraine with students from Lodzki University. Our handmade posters with the face of ex-president in fact were very popular among photographers. I remember our preparation in FERSO and our handmade ukrainian flags. Even we couldn`t hear a lot we felt special spirit of that demonstration which gathered people together.

And Plac Wolmosci for some time became very pro-Ukrainian. Even Kosciuszko showed his solidarity with people in EuroMaydan. Dana, Cristina, Cata and me went to this action as well.
